Bean Fosters is a Coffee, Tea, and People Place / Used Bookstore in Golden, Colorado. The shop is independently owned and operated by Truett and Shana Mickey - just some local business owners.
What can you expect from Bean Fosters?
Warm, cozy experiences.
We seek to uplift the local community through these experiences, and even improve the communities where our coffee is grown. Economically, we focus on primary supplier relationships in the Denver metro area, with businesses that care about the conditions from which their product comes. We expect the beans, and other products, to be well-fostered before we even get our hands on them.
Then we continue the fostering of our products in the ways we serve them. We really like fresh-roasted, by-the-cup treatment of coffee, and espresso that's been given its due diligence. We like good tea that's been ethically sourced, properly stored and well-served. And we like to complement these products with some delicious food items too.
We then take great effort to make a comfy environment with big, soft chairs, free wifi, lots of used books to browse and take home, and full of friendly faces. Bean Fosters is not just a place for coffee and tea; it's for people.
About the books:
We have a great selection of around 10,000+ used books sorted into fiction, mystery, science fiction/fantasy, horror, young adult, classics, poetry, and biography. We accept all book donations - sorting through what we can sell and driving the rest over to various nonprofit agencies. All of our books on the shelves are cataloged, so if you're looking for something specific, feel free to ask us if we have it!
